Build on VegaLake

VegaLake brings data movement, compute, and metadata discovery into one organization- and workspace-scoped platform. Use these guides to set up access, choose a product, complete a workflow in the dashboard, or integrate through the public API reference.

Get started

Sign in, select an organization and workspace, then open your first product.

VegaFlow

Configure connections and clusters, then run and schedule QuickFlows.

VegaGraph

Search a typed metadata graph, inspect Entity 360, and trace lineage.

API reference

Integrate with customer-facing Account, Secret, VegaFlow, and VegaGraph APIs.

Choose a path

  • Platform administrators create workspaces, manage organization security, and grant users or service principals the permissions they need.
  • Data engineers create secret references, connections, clusters, and QuickFlows in VegaFlow.
  • Data owners and analysts use VegaGraph to find assets, understand context, and follow lineage or impact.
  • Developers use the generated API reference after obtaining an identity with the required organization and workspace permissions.

How scope works

An organization is the administrative boundary for membership, security policy, roles, groups, and service principals. A workspace isolates product resources inside that organization. Always check the selected organization and workspace before creating a resource or diagnosing an empty list.
VegaDB is visible as a preview product area. Its Database, Worksheets, Warehouses, and Audit Logs pages are not yet implemented, so these docs do not claim an operational workflow or public VegaDB API.
